OVERVIEW

This diverse and challenging role is to help and support each member of the Lodge team in their individual roles so that, as a team, you deliver a world-class hospitality service, creating unique and memorable holiday experiences for every client. This position requires the ability to think ahead, provide a service before the guest makes the request and to anticipate events before they happen. Most importantly, you must exhibit the ability to discreetly serve guests in a luxury manner adapting to each guest requirements of service.

 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Cleanliness and tidiness throughout the property with main emphasis on Housekeeping and Laundry
  • Assisting the Manager and Assistant Manager with guest service of meals (breakfast, afternoon tea, canapés and dinner)
  • Assisting with service of drinks, cocktails and having an understanding of what is available (putting your own cocktail ideas forward is always a plus)
  • Assisting with chalet and client laundry service
  • Assisting with general chores in the kitchen and recycling
  • Assisting clients generally and answering any queries
  • Supporting and assisting each member of the chalet team in their individual roles
  • Polishing of glassware, crockery and cutlery

  • Keen to learn – for those wishing to further their careers we can train hosts in areas of service and guest liaising as we progress through the season

 

 

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

This role would suit individuals with the following skill set:

  • Previous luxury hospitality experience in Villas, Chalets, Hotels and/or Yachting.
  • Good organisational skills
  • Keen eye for presentation and detail
  • Conversational German (preferred)
