SOUS CHEF - VAL D'ISERE

Responsible to:  Head Chef

We are currently looking for an experienced sous chef to join our team in Val d'Isere.  This is a fantastic opportunity to live and work in an outstandingly beautiful resort with over 300km of piste on your doorstep! This role requires you to be highly organised, motivated and hard working. Seasonal experience is preferred and experience in cooking in a professional environment and for large numbers is essential as Ski-Val are committed to providing an exceptional service to our guests and as a chalet sous chef you will need to maintain our high standards. Professional cooking qualifications are desirable.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be comfortable assisting the Head Chef in cooking a four course evening meal and breakfast for up to 50 guests.
  • You must have excellent food presentation skills and be sure all the food that goes to customers is of the best quality to maintain high standards.
  • Take on the responsibility for cooking staff meals and cooking delicious cakes for guests. 
  • Maintain high levels of cleanliness in the kitchen. 
  • Have a nothing is too much trouble attitude and be able to think on your feet. You will be interacting with guests on a daily basis.
