Meribel Ski Chalets has been operating in the French Alps for over 15 years.
Providing comfortably luxurious catered chalet ski holidays is our principal activity.
We have a particular focus on providing holidays in desirable chalets, centrally located, offering a top class provision of service and at a competitive price.
Currently offering 5 chalets, we are in a growth phase, and are looking for experienced people to join our well-established team.
Managing our town-centre located Chalet Snowbel, you will be providing 4 course meals to 6 guests each night.
Moreover, you will be responsible for presenting and keeping clean the chalet to the highest standard, ensuring that guests are provided with the most welcoming and relaxing environment possible.
Allied to this, you will be in charge of maintaining the brand new hot-tub for the guests, performing daily hygiene and chemical level checks as well ensuring it is cleaned, emptied and refilled each week.
Budgeting, wine stock-taking and ordering your shopping will also fall under your responsibility, and this is to be completed weekly in time for our shopping trips.
What we are looking for
You will be an accomplished chef with at least 2 years kitchen experience in a top-end restaurant or gastro-pub.
You will be comfortable cooking with all meats, fish and catering for clients dietary requirements.
In order to be considered for the role you will need to be NVQ/ City and Guilds Level 3 or equivalent qualified.
A warm, accommodating and socially competent manner is an absolute must.
In return you will be rewarded superbly with a weekly wage of £200, ski hire, accommodation, flights to/from resort, insurance and uniform.
