We are looking for a couple (due to living arrangements) to work for us in Megeve ideally from 1st of December 2016 till the end of April 2017. One of the pair will be hosting & cleaning our 11 guest chalet, and 4 guest apartment and the other will be cooking, shopping, driving and snow plowing when needed!
We put up our chalet for rental through AirBNB & other similar sites (airbnb.com/rooms/6052182), we come up some week ends and holidays with our 3 children aged 8, 11 & 12 and our labrador. We live an hour away and enjoy it as much as we can. We hope through your service to give our guests and ourselves the best possible experience during the holidays, looking for a professional and discreet service, without being too formal.
We're looking for candidates who are enthusiastic, hard working and friendly as well as being presentable and approachable so you can help create a great atmosphere in our chalet.
We are looking for someone who has worked in the catering industry before, who is comfortable cooking meals for 15 people or more. Your daily catering duties will include preparing breakfast, a simple lunch if needed, baking a cake for afternoon tea sometimes, and preparing a delicious dinner. You will also be responsible for cleaning and maintaining the kitchen and its equipment.
Driving is necessary, and if you have your own car, better. You might be asked to shuttle guests to and from the slopes, just 800m away!
If you have handy man abilities, that is a plus.
Greeting the guests and making sure they are comfortable. Setting and clearing up after breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner, as well as serving. It will be your responsibility to ensure that the guests rooms are cleaned to a spotless standard, as well as the communal areas. Organising arrivals of guests and changeovers.
