Snowchateaux is an evolving and ambitious chalet operator and an experienced Area Manager is sought to take over day to day operational responsibilities in The Tarentaise. To summarise, Snowchateaux operates with:

  • 30 properties
  • 300 guests per week
  • 70 staff
  • 20 vehicles
  • 5 resorts

Our staff are amongst the best paid, all on French contracts with two days off. Our guests enjoy a fabulous experience and our properties are of a high quality.  We lease a large transport fleet and we also own our own ski stock.

This position is not for the faint hearted, it's a busy role that will require the very best in personal organisation, communication skills and getting the best out of our team, your personal attributes will be everything expected of a strong leader and your skills will be extensive and will include knowledge of property maintenance, good local knowledge, brilliant customer service skills, good knowledge of the catering industry, an eye for detail and immaculate standards with housekeeping requirements. A good standard of French language is essential. Food budget, shopping online and stock control is an important part of our process.

This summer, we are launching self catered chalets, mountain bike holidays and an alpine adventure cookery course.
