**Probably the best job in the alps this year**

This role is working for 3 friends who own a private chalet near Morzine. We're not there all the time, so there is a lot of free time to ski/board and enjoy the season!!

The role will predominately focus on driving, maintenance, and cleaning. No cooking is required.

This is a standalone, live-out role so will suit an independent, well planned and reliable person. Accommodation is not included.

Main Responsibilities

  • Delivering a first-class private chauffeur service to owners and guests of the chalet

    • Airport pickups

    • Driving guests to and from the slopes

    • Evening pick-ups in town (avg. 2 per week)

  • Regular clean of the chalet/as required

  • Turnover between stays. Changing beds, turnover laundry, cleaning, shopping for grocery essentials in advance of next guest arrival

  • Maintenance of chalet facilities – hot tub, fireplace, basic chalet maintenance (e.g changing bulbs) as required

  • Snow clearing from driveway and garden deck

  • Managing, maintaining and cleaning the chalet vehicles

  • Assisting guests with any general queries

  • Maintaining upkeep of boot room

  • Assisting with chalet laundry

  • Resort based logistics e.g. food shopping, helping move equipment around resort (e.g ski servicing), collecting ski passes etc.

 

Requirements

  • Previous season experience is essential

  • Must have the legal right to work in the UK and Europe.

  • Proactive, communicative, mature and responsible

  • 5 years driving experience minimum with full EU driving licence, over the age of 25 for insurance purposes, max 3 points.

  • Experience of mountain/snow driving / Experience of driving minibuses, experience of driving abroad and in snowy/icy conditions is an advantage.

  • A basic knowledge of French language would also be an advantage
