We are looking to recruit 2 - 3 seasonal chefs to work with us. The job will be based in Torgon which makes up part of the Port Du Soliel region of Switzerland. There will also be the opportunity of work in a center in Crans Montana during the season.
You are at the heart of the chalet. Providing a high level of service and a high standard of food. This role is suited for someone who is happy to work hard, to meet deadlines whilst maintaining a high standard and can work within a team. The roles would involve preparing and cooking a four course evening meal for between 50 and 250 people per week, the majority of our work is with school groups so the menu is catered to suit there needs and requirements. You will need to have a good knowledge of different types of dietary and allergy requirements. Plus have the essential knowledge of running and maintaining a working kitchen in all aspects, from the food hygiene and storage, stock rotation and ordering and keeping the kitchen clean and presentable.
