Chef

The Chef’s Role:

The Chef will be required to cook with imagination and flair for large groups within a tightly controlled budget.

What we’re looking for: 

  • City & Guilds 706/1 + 2 or equivalent with hotel/restaurant experience

  • Experience of cooking for large groups

  • Excellent organisational skills

  • Excellent budget management skills

  • Good interpersonal skills

  • Valid food hygiene certificate

  • Valid UK Driving License

What you’ll be responsible for:

  • Menu planning within budget

  • Food  purchasing within budget

  • High standard of food preparation and service at breakfast/dinner

  • Preparation of a 3-course evening meal

  • Training chalet hosts to assist in food service/preparation 

  • Maintaining kitchen to Health and Safety requirements

 Benefits

  • Employer’s liability insurance

  • Return flight from UK to Geneva

Candidates interested in this position will need to be over 23 (for minibus insurance) in possession of a permanent UK. National Insurance number, a UK or EU passport, an EHIC card, a UK contact address and a UK bank account.
