We are looking for an Ambitious Enthusiastic Chef De Partie to come up in May and do a season with us up here at Langass Lodge on The Island of North Uist. There are additional roles available for a Sous Chef and Front of House and so the situation may appeal to a couple or pair of friends. Good Quality accommodation is provided free of charge.

We literally serve Fresh Local Seafood and Game in many cases harvested by ourselves on the Island. Our small brigade serves two menu's - Modern Scottish Cuisine in our Restaurant and a Fresh Brasserie style Bar Menu. We have worked hard to establish a good reputation and our Head Chef Michael Macdonald is keen to share his experience and runs a refreshingly calm team.

We are looking for someone with a proven track record delivering good quality food and taking responsibility for their dishes. Keen to extend their experience. We enjoy creating a team that can deliver in a pleasant creative environment. The position would suit someone who enjoys an Outdoor lifestyle, walking, fishing or surfing etc

The Salary is from £18,500 - £21,000 depending on experience Per annum Pro Rata for a 45 Hour week + Paid Overtime +tips + Accommodation.
