Apply if you are happy to be contacted during the 18/19 Ski Season for a late starting role! This job role is for applications that will be considered as a reserve place for any positions that become available during the season. 

We are looking for budding chefs to work in our busy Equity Club hotel kitchens catering for our guests, a mix between school groups and adults across various locations in the stunning French Alps. 

You will have the desire to progress in your cheffing career and learn from our experienced team, cooking good, healthy food for large quantities of school children and an exciting and more sophisticated menu for our adult guests.  Working in a professional kitchen overseas, you will be aware of the importance of minimising wastage, complying with health and hygiene standards and catering for special dietary requirements. You will be quick to learn and keen to pick up new skills within the kitchen alongside preparing and delivering our nutritious set menu to groups of school children 3 times per day.  Our chef team is well trained with a strong support structure from our hugely experienced Executive Chef and knowledgeable Head Chefs.

Ranging from a buffet style breakfast in the morning, a hot lunch in the afternoon and a 3 course dining experience in the evening; you will ensure all food is cooked and presented to our high standards.

We deliver a first class training and development program throughout your employment with us and many of our Head chefs started off as a Commis.  We ask a lot but we make sure we look after you.  We provide you with your travel to and from resort, accommodation, all your meals, ski lift pass, ski hire, bar discount and full training for the job overseas. Whether this is part of a year out or a job you think could evolve into a career, we are there to train and support you to make sure we get great staff and you get a great season.

Essential - Level 1 Health and Hygiene, previous catering experience.

Desirable - Level 2 Health and Hygiene (Intermediate).
