Have you ever worked as an unqualified teacher, teaching assistant, instructor or youth worker? If YES, then please read on! Beacon Education is looking for confident cover supervisors to work in secondary school settings. As a Cover supervisor you will need to have confidence to stand in front of a secondary classroom and maintain the classroom behaviour, follow plans set by the teacher and ensure a stable and safe learning environment for the students. You will need to have some experience working with young adults and be able to communicate in a professional and effective manner. This role would suit an undergraduate or a graduate looking for some experience in a school setting or someone who has worked with young people before. This role is offered on short-term or day to day basis but long-term opportunities often become available for the right candidates. Beacon Education adheres to the recruitment and vetting checks that must be made on all candidates who work with children and young people. We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all our teachers and support staff to share this commitment.
