Valley Fever are entering our 10th winter this year, operating on the same principles that have served us well since 2009. We are passionate and 100% dedicated to the guest experience and we like to get the small things right with great listening and solid planning, backed up of course by tasty food and smooth logistics.
Our drivers and hosts are the key to this and invaluable to our business, so we recruit confident and outgoing people who value a two way conversation and are dedicated to customer service. We look after them well too, with a high standard of seasonal accommodation, a full area MBU lift pass, travel, food and a competitive wage.
Your attitude is the most important thing to us. We can teach you most things you’ll need to know but we can't teach your personality or desire to do what it takes to get the job done.
We have several roles to fill including “Driver & Chalet Host”, and this role is suitable for individuals or a couple if combined with our individual “Chalet Host” roles.
Driver & Chalet Host
Working closely with us, but taking full ownership of your role, we'll give you the support & training you need but we'll also give you the freedom to add your personality to Valley Fever.
You’ll be responsible for slope shuttles each morning and several afternoons plus Geneva Airport transfers on changeover day, but you’ll also be required to be to support our chalets hosts during other times as a key part of your role. This will include tasks such as setting up for breakfast, hot tub maintenance, snow clearing, serving and washing up, cleaning plus food preparation as required.
We believe preparation and proactively is key - get this right and the guests have fun, you do the job well and we get to enjoy the mountain more!
Work hard, ski hard...... if this is you please get in touch!
Expected end date on or around April 20th
Full team training will commence on or around Dec 1st
