Summer Resort Team.

Most people know us for offering unforgettable ski holidays the Alps best loved resorts, but we also open a selection of our chalets during the summer months too, and we are looking to recruit a team of ‘Summer Resort Staff’.


When only the snow-capped peaks remain and the sun shines high in the sky, the Alps are without doubt, one of the most beautiful areas in the world. Summer in the Alps is hot, spectacular, outdoor, and fun.


In the summer months we open chalets in Morzine and Alpe d’Huez, and the hotel in Les Gets. We have selected these three resorts as they offer the perfect location for a summer holiday in the mountains, and the chalets provide a retreat for families, groups or couples looking for a short break or a week away.


Our flexible approach allows us to offer self-catered, B&B or half board options, so whatever the guests’ requirements we'll hopefully have something to suit. Our Summer Resort Staff will be on hand every day to ensure guests get the very most out of their stay.


We also provide a childcare service to allow families to fully enjoy the mountains with the luxury and added convenience of a spare pair of hands.


Therefore we are looking to employ a team of Summer Resort Staff who are outgoing individuals that take great pride in their personal appearance and presentation of their property, possess exceptional communication skills, and genuinely enjoy looking after and entertaining people in a lively environment with a sense of personal responsibility and ownership.


Acting as ambassadors for our summer programme the team will be self-motivated and use initiative and flexibility to best manage the day to day running of the properties and resorts.


Throughout the week you will be responsible for the weekly preparation and guest services, cleaning and immaculate presentation of properties, catering services for guests who book these, daily hot tub maintenance and all company paperwork whilst following company HACCP and COSHH procedures. All applicants must be able to drive as this is a necessary part of the summer programme.


Summer Chef

Like all of our summer positions in the Alps, the job of a Chef is extremely varied and complete flexibility is required for this role.  Ultimately you will be responsible for maintaining the standard of catering within our summer programme. The Chef is primarily based between Morzine and Les Gets, but would be required to travel between our other resorts when necessary.

This is a highly demanding role and requires candidates to have previously worked in a professional catering environment and ideally have chalet experience.  We are looking for people who have a genuine enthusiasm for food, are committed to constantly improving quality and have experience of managing and motivating staff. A good understanding of French is advantageous and previous resort experience essential. Driving will invariably be a part of your duties and therefore you will need to have held a full clean driving licence. 


Job description in brief:

  • Working closely with our Catering Advisor to organise the training courses to ensure all our staff receive thorough training
  • Training new members of staff throughout the season
  • Proactively visiting chalets during the week to provide support, advice and guidance to existing staff
  • Ensuring that our exceptional standards of customer service are being met by all chalet staff
  • Liaising with Resort Managers to identify and deal with any problems arising with chalet staff and the standards being offered
  • Monitoring guest feedback with regards to catering and take any action required
  • Redesign menus if required
  • Receive information on chalet budgets, amend shopping lists and advise on stock levels where necessary
  • Designing a menu and cooking in our properties
