Chalet Manager – St Anton – Seasonal

 

An exciting opportunity to manage and run a clean, efficient and cost-effective chalet in St Anton as become available. You will manage the in-chalet team and the delivery of a unique concierge service. In this very customer facing position, the ultimate objective is to provide exceptionally high levels of hospitality and exemplary holidays which exceed our guest’s expectations.

 

Responsibilities:

Including but not limited to:

• Managing the chalet team in delivering high standards of service, hygiene, cleanliness and customer service.

• Manage bookings through the company database, whilst liaising with head office and the Resort Management team.

• Responsibility for all chalet budgets, including expenditure, invoicing, chalet budgets, financial paperwork and the processing of payments for guests in-resort expenditure.

• Prepare a cohesive diary of bookings and guests requests for the season.

• Carry out routine spot checks of the chalets.

• Welcome guests on arrival to resort and be present for all departures.

• Order, purchase and distribute lift passes.

• Assist guests with ski hire requests and offer in store assistance at boot fittings.

• Arrange group ski-school and private ski tuition, using our nominated ski-school providers.

• Make restaurant, après-ski and bar reservations.

• Entertain and host whole groups of corporate guests.

• Provide cover for driver duties when necessary.

• Be on call 24 hours for guest emergencies.

• Monitor goods going in and out of the chalet and maintain a stock take of all front of house, kitchen and housekeeping items.

• Help manage the housekeeping of the chalet to budgets set for food, cleaning products and utilities by

completing monthly stock takes where required.

• Act as first point of call to chalet staff with any work-related issues.

• Write weekly chalet rotas, taking into account staff working hours and weekly guest itineraries.

• Socialising with chalet guests, creating an ambience where the guests feel welcome and relaxed at all

times.

• Acquire a thorough knowledge of the resort including local facilities, evening entertainment and ski

information.

• In-resort you will report the Resort Manager and Company Operations Manager.

• You will also report to the UK based management team, including company Directors.

 

 

The ideal candidate

• A background in high-end hospitality or hotel services, with an exacting eye for detail.

• Previous summer / winter season experience in a support / management role, including at least one season

in St Anton

• A desire to deliver a luxury product and work in a professional environment

• Minimum age of 25 years

• UK or EU passport, or UK working visa

• British issued National Insurance Number

• UK registered bank account

• Full clean driving license
