We have a great opportunity for an experienced chef to work in a brand new 16-bed luxury chalet in St. Anton this winter season. This role is perfect for a creative and confident chef who wants to make an impression with their stunning food.
The role is both demanding and rewarding in different ways; you will be able to showcase your cooking skills and abilities as well as your team management.
Managing a small team
In the chalet each group of up to 16 guests will have different tastes, so you will need to be able to plan and deliver a different menu each week.
Preparation of afternoon tea, breakfast, canapés, five course evening meal, in Mountain Spa Residences- delivery of a la carte menu each night.
Catering for all guests special dietary requirements and special occasions
Catering for children (including early dinners when required)
Maintaining food hygiene, general health & safety standards in the kitchen and dining areas
Kitchen cleanliness & tidiness at all times
Assisting with the management of food budgets
Assisting with the maintenance of all kitchen facilities and equipment
Planning and preparation of staff meals per day
Assisting with FOH duties when required
The Ideal Candidate
City & Guilds 7061/2, NVQ level 3 or equivalent
At least 2 years’ post-qualification experience in professional kitchens preferably to a 3 AA rosette / 1 Michelin star, or have worked previously for luxury chalet companies able to supply excellent references
Available for the whole season – December until the end of April
