One of the key positions in our hotel, a good Maintenance Assistant is worth their weight in gold. If you have experience in a Trade- plumbing, electrician, carpentry- or have a lot of experience in maintenance and DIY, then this may be the perfect job for you.

You will work closely with the Hotel Manager, guests and the rest of the team within the hotel to ensure that all the small maintenance issues are dealt with professionally. This will range from something as simple as a leaky tap to a heating or power issue to unclogging a blocked sink. You should be able to display evidence of being able to work on your own initiative. Without being asked, you will look for things to fix or improve in the hotel wherever you can. When faced with something to fix that you’ve never dealt with before, the ability to look at problems methodically is key and what makes a good maintenance assistant great.

Whether this is a career change or some time out, Equity are passionate about their staff and offer a competitive package to entice you away from the humdrum of daily life to come and work for us in the stunning French Alps. We ask a lot but we make sure we look after you. We provide you with your travel to and from resort, accommodation, insurance, all your meals, ski lift pass, ski hire and full training for the job overseas. Whether this is part of a year out or a job you think could evolve into a career, we are there to train and support you. We are here to make sure we get great staff and you get a great season.

Essential – experience in a similar maintenance position, team player and positive attitude.

Desirable - qualifications in carpentry/plumbing/electrician, knowledge of Health and Safety, kitchen experience, food hygiene certificate and full driving licence.
