We have an immediate start for a Head Chef to join a brand new restaurant that is opening in Annecy. You will be leading a team of 4 and look after the day to day running of the kitchen in this seasonal role that has potential to become permanent.

Responsibilities
  • Create varied quality menus, using local suppliers
  • Managing an efficient and clean kitchen
  • Efficient stock control
  • Ensure best prices at all times across a range of suppliers
  • Ensuring all Health & Safety procedures are adhered to
  • Good communicator bringing a positive and productive culture from the kitchen
Ideal Candidate
  • You will be both energetic and approachable
  • You need to be able to work calmly under pressure and able to manage the food budget
  • You will be a self-motivated individual with a genuine enthusiasm for managing and producing good quality food to a consistent standard
  • You will also want to build an amazing reputation for yourself and the Hotel
  • Ideally you will have previously worked in a seasonal holiday business
  • French language would be beneficial

Package

  • Salary: €2500-3000 NET per month
  • Accommodation provided (within the hotel)
  • 5-day working week
  • Food and drink provided 7-days per week
