Equity are looking for confident, outgoing, conscientious, passionate skiers or snowboarders to work as a representative accompanying our school ski trips over the peak weeks of the season. This is the perfect opportunity if you are unable to work a full winter season, but want some time on the slopes! Experience working with children or in the education sector would be beneficial as well as being able to speak a second language.

As the representative, you will be the main point of contact for the school group for the duration of their tour. You will be the face of Equity and as such must provide a consistently high level of customer service in order to ensure that the day to day operation of the group’s ski trip runs smoothly and successfully. You are an essential part of the overall experience that the group will have. Equity want these trips to be inspirational, creating lifelong memories! You will become an integral part of the Equity Operations team, many of our reps returning year after year, but also you will integrate with the school team, sharing their experiences along the way.

Your duties will start when you meet your school group in the UK and travel to resort with them; you are the liaison between the company, the client and the suppliers and will re-confirm all elements of the trip in resort. Each evening you will deliver fun and exciting activities suitable for the students, such as ice skating, bowling or hosting a quiz night! It is essential that you are with the group at all meal times and during evening entertainments; you need to ensure that everyone is punctual for their morning and afternoon ski lessons and you may wish to accompany them or ski with the teachers or other representatives in resort.

You will be readily available to assist the Party Leader, which may include accompanying them to the hospital if a student is injured and any subsequent insurance queries. The Equity Operations team will be on hand to give you advice and support throughout the trip where required, but we need you on the ground to anticipate the needs of the group and not be fazed by challenging situations!

Equity are passionate about their staff and as such we offer a competitive package to entice you away from the humdrum of daily life to come and work for us in the sunny snowy mountains! The job is hard work but can also be very rewarding. Your main aim is to always ensure that all our guests love their school trip with us and leave delighted. We strive for every school to choose to travel with Equity again on their next trip. What will you add to their trip to make it a unique experience?

** Please note, if your application is successful you will be required to travel to Brighton, UK for an interview. In order to be employed by us you MUST have a UK registered address, UK bank account, national insurance number and EU passport **
