For many of the school children that come on holiday with us at Equity Ski, the Ski Reps ARE their holiday. You are the one that greets them at the airport, organises all their ski hire, lift passes, ski lessons and all their fun activities after skiing like ice-skating, bowling or running a quiz in the hotel bar. The rep teams in our hotels work tirelessly to ensure our groups have an amazing time, managing and planning many elements of their trip and dealing with any medical or insurance issues. Or simply sharing their passion for the ski industry and being the main point of contact for our guests and suppliers.
We are looking for a confident, outgoing, and conscientious individual who is not fazed by challenging situations and long hours. Your main aim is to always ensure that our guests love their school trip and holiday with us and leave happy. You’ll enjoy chatting to the guests throughout the day and knowing that just being friendly counts as part of doing your job well. Presenting in front of groups and maintaining good relationships with local suppliers in resort will be something that comes naturally to you. You will be organised and have excellent attention to detail when carrying out all the requisite financial and administration tasks.
Our reps are given training and support throughout their employment with us, also being trained to become Salomon-Trained Ski Technicians. Skiing is a big part of what we do so you shouldn’t miss out and we encourage our reps to join in on lessons with the school groups and share their holiday with them.
We ask a lot but we make sure we look after you. We provide you with your travel to and from resort, accommodation, insurance, three meals a day, ski lift pass, ski hire and full training for the job overseas. Whether this is part of a year out or a job you think could evolve into a career, we are there to train and support you and indeed, many of our Ski Reps have gone on to senior positions in the company. We are here to make sure we get great staff and you get a great season.
Essential – confident and outgoing personality, customer service experience, excellent interpersonal and organisational skills. Italian language speaker and knowledge of the ski industry.
