Blue Anchor an award winning Caravan Park in Somerset are looking for a Maintenance Manager to join their team.
The successful candidate should have proven experience as a Maintenance Manager or Supervisor ideally in a holiday park, hotel or residential property. You will need the ability to project manage as well as being able to deliver smaller scale in-house projects. You will also be able to establish and maintain strong working relationships with other departments, external suppliers and contractors.
The successful candidate should also possess the following attributes:
High level of inter-personal skills and a good communicator Experience in managing a team Self-motivated with a positive attitude Focussed on delivering a high standard of work A hands on approach and can do attitude for day to day issues Able to adapt quickly to situations as they arise with a sense of urgency Organised, hardworking and conscientious Attention to detail Financial understanding of budgets and expenditure Knowledge of plumbing and electrics Willing to learn the requirements of swimming pool plant systems.
This is a full-time permanent position reporting directly to the General Manager. The nature of our business necessitates that the successful applicant will be required to work some anti-social hours, including weekends and bank holidays.
