Objectives/Role: All Brands – Working closely with the Online Marketing Executive to drive customer acquisition, retention and conversion across all channels for all brands whilst ensuring consistent on brand messaging.


Responsibilities:

E-mail Marketing

• Responsible for the production and development of all brands emails to increase engagement by using segmentation techniques to produce timely and relevant communications and ensuring tone of voice are appropriate to each brand in line with business objectives

• Use the CRM to segment and profile our database in order to effectively implement targeted and timed emails

• Manage Customer emails (customer booking cycle) and automation of these using the CRM system

• Responsible for ensuring the CRM database is updated on receipt of notification of any direct mail returns (both postal and email)

• Monitoring the success of all email communication through reporting on OR, CTR and CRM making recommendations for improvement Advertising 

• Responsible for the production and implementation within agreed budget, all advertising for all relevant publications and managing design agencies and workflow to meet agreed business deadlines. To ensure reporting is set up in order to report on ROI. Direct Marketing/Print/Distribution

• Assist with the planning and implementation of all Direct Marketing (including trade shows and events) including researching and producing content to agreed timescales and providing relevant reporting

• Assist with the planning, coordination, compilation, layout, design image selection, proofing and distribution of Skiworld brochure and all other direct marketing and ensuring projects meet all required deadlines

• Liaise with Contracts and Product departments to gather required information and updates to all property and product records and ensuring records are all correctly administrated, and to notify the Online Marketing Executive when property records/products are updated in order for them to implement across the website in a timely manner to meet business deadlines.

• Jointly responsible for identifying ways to improve marketing communications with other areas of the business including B2B agency communications and recruitment drives in line with business objectives

• Assist in delivering affiliate and partner campaigns to provide added value to customers and increase data-capture opportunities, and implement such partner marketing campaigns in line with budgets and business objectives and to assist in the collation of relevant campaign reporting for partners to demonstrate ROI

• Assist with writing, distributing and publishing PR features to a high standard to meet business deadlines

• Assist with planning and management of trade shows and events, such as the London Ski Show ensuring high standards, keeping within budget and timescales

• Responsible for overseeing the organisation and maintenance of the company image library and ensuring credits are recorded

• Identifying areas where new photography is required and organising and directing photography shoots to meet company needs and deadlines

• Brand Ambassador – ensure all communications within the business both internal and external follow company brand guidelines and ensuring guideline documents are kept up to date

• To act as a member of the company wide crisis management team should the need arise

• Any other duties as directed by the Marketing Manager

 

Person specification:                                                                                       

Essential  

-  Experience of producing and reporting on email campaigns

- Strong copy writing and proofing skills

Excellent punctuation, spelling, grammar with a flair for creative writing

- Excellent attention to detail

Experience of brochure production and distribution

Experience of overseeing print production

- Working knowledge of Photoshop

Highly organised with experience of balancing multiple projects

Highly motivated, enthusiastic and with initiative and creativity

Excellent IT skills

 

 Desirable 

- Keen skier/boarder 

- Experience of using  a CRM system

 

WHO THE ROLE WILL SUIT

This role will suit a dynamic and enthusiastic individual who has strong writing skills and who is keen to build on a career in marketing. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with at least 1 year ‘s experience in a similar marketing role and ideally a Marketing qualification who is keen to take on more responsibility and develop their career in a busy and dynamic environment. An interest in snow sports would be beneficial.
