We currently have two roles of Chalet Fitting Manager, one for Val D'Isere and one for Meribel, plus their team of chalet fitters.
Mobile In-Chalet Fitting Manager
Location: Meribel and Val D’Isere France
Job Type: Winter season, French contract
Reporting to the Area manager, you will be responsible for equipping clients in their chalets and accommodations with ski and snowboard hire.
Supervision of a Team
Train new team members in their job role
Motivate and develop your team, helping individuals to progress within the company structure in relation to their relative merits
Optimize productivity of working hours
Organize working schedules to meet busy and quite periods
Ensure all weekly duties are met
Carry out disciplinary procedures in line with company policies
Prepare and adjust the skis according to reservations before the arrival of guests.
Ensure the maintenance and repair of equipment, and the organization and cleanliness of the stock room.
Ensure that the stock meets the demand, and provision where necessary.
Update system with stock management
Development of Commercial activity
Develop Chalet fitting program by actively seeking new clients
Analyze the market and our competitors
Report on weekly turnover and overheads
Uphold good customer relations by in-resort networking
Call clients in advance of their arrival to organize fitting times, manage your teams time prioritize accordingly.
Advise the clients on equipment best suited to their level of experience.
Be the first point of contact during the week for any client questions or equipment exchanges.

Excellent customer service skills with a can-do attitude
Proactive, reactive and organized
Experience of managing a team
Knowledge of the equipment offered
Ski Technician trained
French speaker preferred
Good computer skills
Experience of driving in the snow
Tour operator experience an advantage
