Vaujany Property Service is looking for people to help run a chalet management business in the exclusive resort of Vaujany, Alpe D’Huez.   All 45 Chalets and apartments managed are a mixture of private usage and open rental market.

 

Applicants must be highly self-motivated and responsible with the ability to work independently or within a team.  As this is a relatively small local business, applicants must be reliable, hardworking and adaptable with a ‘can do’ approach to work.

 

Each position is required to work a minimum of 18 hours per week, Saturday and Sunday obligatory with fixed hours, the remaining days and hours are flexible to suit yourselves, giving you maximum time up the mountain.  An attractive monthly salary (based on the French SMIC equivalent) will be remunerated through the UK, so applicants must be currently residing and working in the UK, holders of a UK National Insurance number and UK Bank Account. Comfortable accommodation with own private bedroom is included as well as local area ski pass.

 

Principal duties include preparing chalets for owner’s arrivals, welcoming of guests into their rental accommodation, as well as their departures, accommodation change-overs (cleaning and preparation for following guests) and some general maintenance or ad-hoc duties to attend to.  The properties that are being dealt with are considered high end that demand impeccable cleaning standards with meticulous attention to detail.  Previous experience in a similar role and knowledge of the resort will be viewed favourably.

 

The positions will run from mid December 2020 until mid-April 2021.
