At A Glance

The primary purpose of this role is to lead the operations team to support our resort teams & central departments to ensure our customers have a seamless service and an outstanding holiday experience from booking through to returning home. You’ll oversee our airport operations in several countries to ensure our customers’ journey to their destination is smooth and stress free whilst managing any incidents or disruption and communicate effectively to our customers, resort teams and around our business. We’re looking for an experienced leader who is calm in the face of crisis, highly organised and used to juggling a variety of focuses whilst quickly adapting to a fast paced environment. It’s a broad management role and one that involves strategic and hands on leadership to ensure that we meet our core objectives.

 

What You Will Be Doing

As the Office Operations manager you will lead our support team in the office with 3 key areas in mind:

Team Management : In conjunction with our L&D and HR teams our Office Operations Manager and the Supervisors will lead the training, management, motivation, development and retention of the resort teams. Lead your teams through difficult customer issues or operational disruption to minimise the disturbance to our customers’ holiday. Drive an approach of solving customers’ problems on the spot, in a consistent and timely manner so our customers want to travel with us again and again Take a lead in managing disruption or crisis situations.

Service : Our Office Operations Managers provide a robust platform of support tools for our resort teams so they can perform their roles efficiently and effectively. Monitor and adapt the overseas service model in collaboration with the overseas management team to improve services and standards within all aspects of the holiday experience. Ensure our resort teams have all the equipment, accommodation, hardware, vehicles and uniform they need to do their job in a timely manner. Provide support, back up and information to our central departments to ensure we have a collaborative approach in providing a seamless service for our customers.

Operational Excellence : Our Office Operations Manager will improve performance using financial and process KPIs for all areas of your remit, not being afraid to make bold decisions to change our operation. Ensure customers have a stress free journey through our airports via the most efficient and commercially effective modes of transport, ensuring welfare is considered at every step. Provide a collaborative working environment to develop our resort operational processes so we continually become more efficient and able to deliver better and more flexible service. Ensure processes and procedures across the region are consistent in line with company policies. Together with the resort management teams, ensure our due diligence procedures are followed so we are compliant in all legal aspects of our business. Establish strong controls of our company assets and ensure adherence to our group guidelines and polices

 

What We Are Looking For

Clear communication style and concise with the ability to integrate many opinions to provide the best way forward
Previously led a team with a variety of skills, knowledge and development needs
You can provide strong coaching and development to an established team
Ability to build a collaborative working environment as part of a large team
You have the ability to cope under pressure in difficult logistical situations
You’ve a passion for skiing or being active in the mountains
Putting the customer at the heart of everything you do
Rapidly able to solve problems in order to ensure our customers are minimally inconvenienced
Strong influencing skills to deliver the operation across multiple departments – you’ll need many people on side to successfully execute a seamless service
Solid commercial and financial understanding and are able to balance these with customer and staff requirements
You’re self sufficient with computers and other tech, and have an interest in Social Media to maintain our digital focus
You’re confident using your verbal and written local language (French, German or Italian)
