This role involves providing general administrative support to the HR Department with specific responsibility for the recruitment of overseas resort staff.


To be involved in the recruitment of all overseas staff, with particular responsibility for recruiting chalet staff, lodge staff, maintenance staff and resort hosts:

•    To respond to recruitment enquiries
•    Screen applications from initial enquiry onwards
•    Distribute recruitment information
•    Conduct interviews
•    Place candidates in positions and resorts
•    Generate offer/hold/rejection letters for the above positions
•    Ensure regular communication with candidates to maximise their understanding of their role and commitment for the season
•    Deal with all correspondence for the above staff, ensuring they receive and return all necessary information
•    Collate and input all required candidate information into the database
•    Follow-up two work-related references for each staff member before the commencement of the season
•    To attend cookery courses and schools, Universities and Colleges and recruitment fairs when necessary
•    Coordinate and attend the overseas recruitment workshops at the end of the winter season.
•    Despatch and co-ordinate the coaches to resort at the beginning of the season.

To provide administrative support for the HR Department:

•    Deal with initial phone/email enquiries and record details on the recruitment database
•    To respond to general recruitment enquiries
•    To assist with statistical analysis and data entry
•    To keep the personnel database, insurance database and overseas staff grids up to date
•    To deal with all reference, Inland Revenue and JSA requests for the department
•    To process all returned recruitment paperwork, acceptance deposit payments and acknowledgements for the department
•    Coordinate booking all staff flights where appropriate
•    To assist with the production and distribution of pre-season information letters and contracts to all overseas staff
•    To assist with the production of offer / hold / rejection letters for all positions within the department when needed
•    To process A1 staff applications


•    To provide any other assistance required to the HR Manager
•    To ensure positive promotion of Skiworld at all times
•    To abide by Company procedures and policies with regards to confidentiality, storage, handling and processing of data
•    To monitor competitor packages on a regular basis, gather market intelligence, and suggest ideas for future improvements in this area so that Skiworld remains competitive

•    Superb attention to detail
•    Highly organised
•    Ability to come up with ideas for development and improvement
•    Demonstrating a fair, consistent and logical approach to decisions
•    Showing professionalism at all times
•    Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
•    Sound knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint
•    Previous experience of working a season in a ski resort for a tour operator

•    Previous recruitment experience
•    Previous administration experience
