Report to: HR Coordinator

Working hours: 9am – 6pm Monday - Friday

Location: Head office in Putney and overseas when required

Job Summary:

To aid with the selection and recruitment of resort staff and have responsibility over the administrative side of recruitment & training within the Operations team.

Provide an effective and efficient administrative support service in all areas of recruitment, as well as working closely with the Operations & Delivery Team in controlling resort operations.

Support resort teams through email and phone correspondence as well as in resort during school holidays.

 

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Representing Powder Byrne as the first point of contact for all potential employees.
  • Responding to all employment applications for resort positions.
  • Correspondence with all candidates and temporary staff; before, during and after employment (offer letters, contracts, thank you letters).
  • Keeping the staff database up-to-date with employment history, and personal information.
  • Obtaining references and carrying out DBS checks for resort staff employees.
  • Assisting HR Manager with FAM sessions and interviews, with the objective to conduct own FAM sessions / interviews in the future.
  • Planning of resort staff training, and assisting with training presentations.
  • Booking flights and travel arrangements for resort staff and operations team.
  • Control over staff wages, insurance and employment records (e.g. P45’s, Work Permits, A1’s etc.)
  • In charge of social media marketing for recruitment purposes.
  • Organising Resort Staff End of Season Party.
  • Supporting other roles within the Operations Team.
  • Assist with the operational planning for winter and summer resorts.
  • Travelling to resort during school holidays to support resort teams during their busiest times – these will require strong skiing experience and driving experience.

Essential Requirements:

  • Full clean driving licence
  • Attention to detail paramount
  • Ski ability (red run confident)
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • An enthusiastic, reliable and flexible team player
  • Professional attitude
  • Diplomatic and understanding
  • Interpersonal and communication skills to deal with people at all levels
  • Organisation and prioritisation skills
  • Good IT knowledge, including all Microsoft products

 

Desirable Requirements

  •  Experience in HR or Admin
  • Presentation / public speaking skills
  • Experience driving abroad/in adverse conditions
  • Season resort experience
