We are recruiting for a Resort Assistant and Administrator, in Courchevel 1850 



Kaluma Travel is a small, luxury tour operator, focussed on our specialist regions of St Anton and Courchevel 1850. As an owner-managed company we have built a loyal following of clients that appreciate our stunning properties and unique in-resort concierge service.

This role offers administrative and managerial support to the Resort Manager, assisting with the day-to-day operational running of Courchevel 1850. Predominantly back-of-house, they are responsible for all resort administration, including HR documentation and in-chalet paperwork. As well as this the candidate will assist in the operational running of the chalets, checking standards and maintaining high levels of service across the resort. 

The correct candidate will display excellent administrative skills, have pre-existing resort knowledge, managerial experience, a solid background in hospitality, a strong work ethic and a desire to go that extra mile. 



  • To assist the Resort Manager with the smooth running of resort operations.
  • Responsibility for all in-resort paperwork. This includes assisting in-chalet staff with the completion of their weekly paperwork, the collation and filing of all legal and HR documentation, and the countersigning and checking of all in-chalet Health and Safety documentation.
  • Monitoring in-chalet spends.
  • The order, purchase and distribution of lift passes.
  • Conveying all guests’ in-resort spend to the Resort Manger, to ensure correct billing.
  • Complete regular in-chalet spot checks and change-over day chalet checks, to maintain cleanliness, service and food quality standards, ensuring continuity throughout Kaluma’s Courchevel product.
  • Offer practical in-chalet support to Hosts, Chefs and Drivers when needed.
  • Provide cover for 2 scheduled drivers-service shifts per week (up to 16 hours) to aid resort operations in covering drivers’ days off, as well as any ad-hoc driving if needed.
  • The booking of any ski-schools, restaurants and ski hire, taxis or anything else required by Kaluma’s guests.



  • A background in high-end hospitality or hotel services, with an exacting eye for detail.
  • Administrative and managerial experience.
  • Minimum age of 25 years
  • UK or EU passport, a National Insurance Number, UK bank account
  • Full clean driving license.
