We are looking for Resort Reps to provide our guests with the highest level of service and standards in line with our company values, ensuring their holiday is as enjoyable as possible.


Responsibilities 

  • Verify guests are happy with all Ski Beat services provided

  • Organisation and implementation of après ski programme

  • Sell ski packs and après ski programme to maximise company in resort profit

  • Accurate accounting of sales and safe keeping of all monies collected for services provided with timely payments to suppliers and banking of surplus funds

  • Comply with all procedures & standards as set out in the staff manuals

  • Assist Resort Manager in co-ordinating resort operations and maintaining standards

Specific Duties

  • Pre-season: assist with training and resort set up. Check chalet and resort descriptions and report inaccuracies. Up-date Information Folders, Ski Pack Sheets and Welcome Packs. Prepare Après Ski programme

  • Visit all guests weekly and complete online reporting

  • Ensure all guests’ issues are dealt with promptly and fully to provide the highest level of customer service

  • Oversee the safe transfer of Ski Beat and Directski.com guests to and from the airport

  • Inform chalet hosts of accurate guest arrival time once departed from airport in liaison with in resort Rep or Resort Manager

  • Sales of ski pack (liftpass, ski hire & ski school) to Ski Beat and Directski.com guests and efficiently organise lift pass delivery and ski school bookings.

  • Après ski : run quizzes and other suitable entertainment and accompany guests on organised events

  • Act as a translator and deal with emergencies

  • Complete weekly reconciliation for ski pack sales and return with relevant receipts and vouchers to substantiate

  • Look after injured guests helping them deal with their insurance company and ensuring they have everything they need

  • Liaison with local suppliers. For example: Ski pack, service and maintenance suppliers

  • Complete weekly report

  • Liaise with line manager and head office. Up-date head office with any changes in resort

  • Snow clearing

  • Covering driver day off in certain resorts

  • Participating in resort close down including completing end of season reporting

  • In resort we work as a team and you may be required to step in and help in a chalet if needed

About You

  • You must be over 23 years old (for vehicle insurance purposes)

  • You will need to have:

  • An EU passport and a permanent UK National Insurance Number

  • Your own laptop

  • A friendly and helpful manner

  • Ability to manage your time effectively

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Patience and a sense of humour

  • An ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team

  • The capacity to work well under pressure

  • A neat and well groomed appearance at all times

  • Willingness to put guests' needs first

  • An eye for detail

  • First rate timekeeping

  • Energetic and flexible with a hands on approach

Skills:

  • Good level of spoken French

  • Numeracy

  • An aptitude for problem solving

  • Excellent organisation and time planning

  • IT literate; knowledge of Word and Excel

​Experience:

  • Previous and relevant Customer Service experience

  • Proven sales experience

Preferable:

  • Drivers licence (essential in some resorts)

  • Ski or snowboarding experience

  • Catering experience
