Increase your employability in the industry by spending 1 season getting your ski or snowboard instructor qualification and team it with a Ski Patrol qualification!
Ski Patrol is one of the most interesting and rewarding jobs on the mountain. You are the first on, the last off, and the first to be called in an emergency.


All-inclusive Price: Flights, transfers, hotel accommodation, meals, season lift pass, instruction, certification, reading materials, specialist equipment, and shadowing experience with Panorama Ski Patrol.

Start Dates Nov/Dec 2015 & January 2016

Suitable for: Gap year, ski improvement, career break, career development

Available to both snowboarders and skiers.


The skills and practical knowledge to work in emergency response and ski patrol

The training and qualifications you receive on our Ski Patrol Course are internationally recognised and will help ensure you can work in ski patrol anywhere in the world.

You become a member of an elite management team when working for ski patrol so you need to be well prepared and trained to a very high standard. Our modules are carefully selected and although we work you hard the rewards are immense.

Youll be first on the mountain preparing the slopes for the day, looking after injured guests and making sure everyone gets down the mountain safely when the mountain closes.

  • Module 1: CPR BLS for Healthcare Professionals
  • Module 2: Non-Urban Occupational Emergency Care, Level 3
  • Module 3: Advanced Protocol Training
  • Module 4: Rope Rescue

  • Module 6: Patient Extrication & Evacuation
  • Module 7: Avalanche Skills Training, Level 1

  • Module 10: General Patrolling
  • Module 11: Helicopter Orientation, Air Evacuation, Air Rescue
