As part of your role, you’ll be responsible for turning leads into dreams in our Brighton HQ and making sure we get the right customers onto the right slopes.

THE COMPANY

Ski Beat are a successful family friendly tour operator with 30 years’ experience and a reputation for excellent customer service and our warm home-from-home welcome. We specialise in catered chalet holidays to snow-sure French alpine resorts, and are currently expanding our UK head office in central Brighton (only a short stroll from the beach!).

The Brighton office is responsible for all Ski Beat bookings, from the initial enquiry and holiday reservations, through to analysing customers feedback. We hold ourselves to a very high standard in terms of customer experience, innovative thinking and business performance.

THE ROLE

We are currently recruiting for permanent, full-time positions, with an immediate start date. You’ll work as part of a small team of like-minded snow lovers who are passionate about ski and love to close a sale. We love to deliver great customer experiences and you will too!

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Sell Ski Holidays
    • Converting enquiries from travel agents and customers (via phone, email, web chat) into sales.
    • Outbound calling previous customers to create sales.
    • Up-selling ancillaries including ski packs, wine and childcare.
    • Meeting sales, conversion and customer service targets.
  • Administration 
    • Accurately recording and amending bookings on our reservation system.
    • Accurately reporting to and liasing with our resort team.
  • Working Hours 
    • September to mid-April: 9am to 6pm (rostered to start and finish 1-2 hours later in peak booking periods). 9am to 4pm for 11 Saturdays.
    • Mid-April to August: 9am to 6pm Monday to Friday. No weekend work.

As with all small teams, you’ll be required to flexible and dig in to help out in any way we need. This can be a diverse list and is sure to keep you on your toes. From updating websites to getting deep into some market research and competitor analysis we’re always looking to give ourselves an edge.

YOUR CHARACTERISTICS

  • Proven track record of reaching and exceeding holiday sales targets
  • A passion for snow sports (must have been on at least one French ski holiday or worked in resort)
  • Ability to work in a busy and demanding environment 
  • Ability to learn new technology and skills quickly
  • A passion for customer service and continuous personal and business improvement

We’re looking for someone who can hit the ground running so it would be an advantage if you have previous ski sales experience.

  • Competitive base salary of £23-27k per annum (higher end for previous ski sales experience)
