Alpenglow is a small but ambitious ski travel agency. We work with carefully selected tour operators and chalet owners in all the major resorts in the Alps. Our goal is to offer exceptional customer service so that clients come back and book with us year after year.

We are expanding our team and looking to recruit an experienced sales consultant to join us in our office in Kingston upon Thames. The role will primarily involve dealing with enquiries and selling catered chalet holidays. We are also branching out to include hotel and self-catering accommodation.

We are looking for someone who loves skiing or snowboarding and has the following skills and experience:

Essential:

  • A minimum of one year’s experience in ski chalet sales.
  • Track record in meeting sales targets.
  • Extensive skiing or snowboarding experience in a number of different resorts or a season spent working in resort.
  • Ability to develop a strong rapport with clients.
  • Industry-leading product knowledge.
  • A good eye for detail with highly accurate data entry skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good IT skills including the ability to learn new systems quickly.

Desirable:

  • Experience in hotel and luxury chalet sales.
  • The enthusiasm and initiative to come up with and implement ideas and new ways of working to move the business forward.
