HOTEL STAFF

Join our team this winter ski season in one of the world's leading ski areas - la Plagne, Paradiski!

We are looking for enthusiastic people to work in our hotel team;

Our restaurant staff will work in a team with the senior waitresses to serve breakfast, lunch and 3 course evening meals to our guests and outside customers on a shift basis. You must work to a high level of service at all times particularly in the presentation and speed of service. Whilst being professional and efficient our restaurant staff must show excellent personal skills to build a good rapport with our clients.

Our housekeeping staff will work in a team to maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of the hotel. They will work to a high standard at all times particularly when carrying out a room changeover. Housekeepers must have a positive attitude towards their work, carrying out their job in a professional and efficient manner. A good eye for detail is essential.

The main role of our Kitchen Assistants/Porters is to ensure that the kitchen is kept to a high standard of cleanliness, hand-washing pots and pans, loading the dishwasher and washing up after meals. They will assist chefs with food preparation when required (peeling vegetables, washing salads), check deliveries, keep store rooms organised and clean, keep equipment clean and stored correctly and provide general support to the chefs when required. The kitchen assistants will be responsible for preparing a buffet breakfast on a shift basis. Shopping in the valley for restaurant food will be part of this role.

Our staff work on a shift basis which allows good skiing time. As well as the skills related to your role you may be required to assist with other duties such as the accepting and organising of deliveries, snow clearing, assisting guests with their luggage and lifting. Throughout the season you will be expected to fully support all other team members at the Chalet Hotel.

*REQUIREMENTS*
Responsible, reliable and hardworking

Able to work alone or in a team
Ability to work calmly under pressure
High standard of customer service
High standard of cleanliness and presentation
Previous experience preferable
French speaking not necessary

*REMUNERATION*
A full ski season package is offered for this role including:
Monthly salary + travel to and from the UK + accommodation + all meals + ski hire + ski pass + carte neige insurance

ASAP to end of April 2017
