Job Description
Chalet Cooks
Working on your own or as part of a team you'll be hosting a chalet party, cooking delicious food for your guests during their holiday and making sure they have everything they need to enjoy their week. You should have a 'nothing is too much trouble' attitude and go out of your way to make your guests feel welcome, at ease and well looked after.
Responsibilities include: Providing a full breakfast, afternoon tea and beautiful three course evening meal with canapés six days a week. You will be responsible for creating a warm, friendly and 'home from home' environment in your chalet. You will have to work to a budget, do weekly menu planning, ordering, shopping and weekly chalet admin and accounts. You must ensure your kitchen and chalet are kept clean and tidy.
Skills & Experience:
A passion for cooking, entertaining and meeting new people
Ability to cook to a good dinner party standard
Relevant catering experience or qualification preferred
Friendly, sociable, hard working, motivated
Organised, reliable, good time keeping
Chalet Couples
Vacancy for position starting in February 2010
We are looking for couples to run chalets across our resorts. You will work together to host a chalet party, cook delicious food for your guests and make sure they have everything they need to enjoy their holiday. Chalet Hosts
Working as part of a team you will support the Chalet Chef in the daily running of the chalet and hosting of the chalet party, making sure they have everything they need to enjoy their holiday. You should have a 'nothing is too much trouble' attitude and go out of your way to make your guests feel welcome, at ease and well looked after.
Responsibilites include: Keeping the chalet clean and tidy, laying the table for meals, assisting the Chalet Chef where necessary with food prep, serving and clearing all meals. Socialising with guests, making them feel at home and relaxed.
Skills & Experience:
A passion for entertaining and meeting new people.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Friendly, chatty, outgoing, well presented.
Hard working, reliable, good time keeping, organised.
Flexi-Hosts

You will be based in one resort but working between different chalets to support the chalet staff with general hosting duties including cleaning, cooking and serving meals. We are looking for outgoing, confident individuals who relish the challenge and variety of working with different people in different situations.
Responsibilities include: Assisting in different chalets and hotels as and when required by your Resort Managers. Helping with cleaning, food preparation, setting up of the dining rooms, serving and clearing meals and any other hosting and front of house duties. Stepping in to cover Chalet Hosts and Cooks in case of illness or injury.
Skills & Abilities
This role requires all-rounders who can turn their hand to whatever is required of them.
You must have a flexible and adaptable approach to your work.
Excellent communication skills, a passion for meeting new people, sociable, chatty and friendly.
Customer service and catering experience.
Hard working, reliable, good time keeping and organisation.
