Job Title: Crèche Supervisor, Luxury Resort

Reporting to: Hotel General Manager & Worldwide Kids Company Operations

Responsible for: Childcare staff employed in the crèche and the smooth running of crèche

Works with: Childcare team

Based: SUMMER ROLES BASED IN - Greece/Crete/Cyprus

Dates: From April until November

Job Description

We are looking for passionate, enthusiastic and outgoing people to work in a luxury resort situated in various overseas resorts. The crèche provides childcare to children between the ages of 4 months and 4 years. You will be supervising the daily running of the crèche

 

The role would ideally suit a person who:

 

  • Can work independent but is outgoing and able to integrate with local staff in a leadership role

  • Can use their own initiative to promote the fantastic childcare setting and attract families to use the facilities

  • Is passionate about delivering high quality childcare

  • Has excellent communication skills as the candidate will be liaising with the hotels general manager and reporting with the London Office Team on a regular basis

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Liaise with management on a regular basis

  • Report on a formal basis once a week to hotel management and WWKC operations team

  • Coordinate and respond to all childcare enquiries that relate to the hotel children's club via telephone, e mail and in person

  • Plan and deliver an exciting weekly entertainment and activity programme using imaginative ideas for special promotions

  • Use pro active ideas on possible new initiatives to attract new business

  • Manage recruitment of local staff

  • Control the stock of art materials and other resources

  • Liaise with on site cleaning teams to ensure the cleanliness of the club and report any discrepancies to the front of house

  • Administration of the crèche and the kids club through a good working knowledge of word and excel

  • To be a visible face of WWKC within the hotel

  • To ensure the health and safety policies and procedures are all in place and updated as necessary.

 

Essential

 

  • Excellent communication skills

  • NVQ Level 3 qualified

  • Must be able to work on own initiative

  • Excellent interpersonal skills

  • Management skills

  • Fluent English

 

Desirable

 

  • Clients in the hotel are Russian, German, French, Greek and English speaking so knowledge of one of these languages would be advantageous.
