Job Description

Ski and Snowboard Instructor training with paid full season employment

Gap Year Canada is the only Banff based program that trains instructors and guarantees employment that same season.

Gain your qualification & get paid employment and valuable work experience to maximize your time spent on snow next season.

Includes:

            -3 week early season training and CSIA/CASI Level 1 certification

            -full season paid employment

            -6 months accommodation in fully furnished, centrally located chalets.

            -weekly training session to train towards Level 2 certification.

            -orientation, events and local support for the season

This course is ideal for those with some skiing or boarding experience, and those who have a passion for the mountains and enjoy working with people.

Gap Year Canada, established in 2004, is the first and only Gap Year Company, based and operating in Banff. As Canadians, and Banff locals, we believe Banff offers the best value, a massive variety of terrain for skier and boarders, and a full service town with a lively night life and activities to keep you busy on & off the hill all season.

Instructor work: Nov 15- April 28th:  

$2850 CAD includes: -3 week instructor course, certification, guaranteed job with paid employment

$5000 CAD includes: - Full season accommodation (self catering based on shared occupancy in twin room) in centrally located chalets,

-airport transfer, assistance with banking, SIN numbers, & Alberta Healthcare.

-full season pass and bus transportation to the mountain of employment with reciprocal mountain benefits to various local mountains in BC and Alberta.


 *applicants must be eligible for a work visa (18-35 yrs old depending on country of passport holder) 

*extra costs are visa ($150CAD), flight (approx 500 GBP), travel insurance (approx 150 GBP), and police check (40 GBP), equipment, food and entertainment costs (which should be covered by wages once you are working)
