Have you got a background in basic maintenance skills (painting, decorating, plumbing, carpentry etc)? Then we want to hear from you!

PGL is the UK's leading provider of residential activity holidays and study courses for young people. We currently have Maintenance Assistant vacancies to join our team in various fantastic locations throughout France.

At a PGL centre, you will find like-minded people from all over the globe, who are escaping the 9 to 5, looking for adventure and gaining qualifications whilst they work.

The holidays we provide are not just about the activities our guests take part in - the presentation of our residential environment is crucial to make a lasting impression. As a Maintenance Assistant, you will be responsible for some of the essential auxiliary functions at the centre, including the site's appearance, general upkeep and cleanliness.

Duties will include day-to-day maintenance issues reported by guests and staff and pro-active maintenance to reduce future problems.

Our maintenance roles are ideal if you enjoy participating in outdoor activities, yet aren't looking for an instructional role. The role of Maintenance Assistant offers great scope for personal development in a supportive environment.

Not a lot of experience in this area? No worries! Anyone who joins the PGL Staff team for the first time with limited or no previous experience can join us on the PGL Apprenticeship Scheme. This provides an industry-leading package of training, support and qualifications, enabling people to join PGL at a range of experience levels and will equip you with the skills and confidence to perform your role. There are no age restrictions on our apprenticeship programme.
